As we climb higher, we’ll reach the Devil’s Punchbowl, a glacial lake cradled in the mountain’s hollow. After a well-deserved break to soak in the views, the hike continues to the summit. From the top, enjoy panoramic vistas of the Lakes of Killarney, MacGillycuddy’s Reeks, and beyond. We’ll then retrace our steps back to the starting point, taking time to appreciate the peaceful surroundings. A warm layer, gloves, and a hat are recommended, as conditions can change rapidly at higher altitudes. Food & Drink: Bring sufficient water and a packed lunch or snacks to enjoy during our break at the Devil’s Punchbowl or the summit.
